Position Description

MXR Imaging, Inc, a nationwide provider of Medical Imaging solutions in X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound, is seeking an experienced X-ray Field Service Engineer. This person will be responsible for Corrective Maintenance and troubleshooting of Medical Imaging equipment, scheduled Planned Maintenance (PM) events and installation of medical imaging equipment at customer's facilities. This position is home office based. Limited overnight travel for service and training is expected.

Location: San Antonio/Austin

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Provide a high level of customer satisfaction by providing ongoing maintenance, technical support, troubleshooting and repairs for medical imaging equipment, including basic x-ray, both stationary and portable, digital imaging, PACS and networking environments, C-Arms, Ultrasound and Fluoro systems.
2. Installation of imaging equipment, including project management, site inspections, site planning, and interaction with customers and contractors to ensure site readiness according to OEM specifications.
3. Complete all necessary state and FDA paperwork related to the installation of radiation-generating equipment.
4. Order parts and supplies required for maintenance and service tickets.
5. Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
6. Provide "On-Call" service coverage after hours on a rotation basis with team members.
7. Complete administrative duties such as service ticket closure, timesheets, expense reports, FDA reporting, radiation badge compliance, and maintenance of tools and test equipment.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• AA in Electronics (Preferred)

Experience

• 5+ years' experience in Medical Imaging Field Service with proven skills in diagnosing and repairing imaging equipment. Experience with OEMs such as Carestream, Quantum, Canon RadPRO, Del Medical, Konica Minolta, Fuji, GE, Summit, or similar is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Competencies

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer/networking skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, co-workers, and OEM support.
