Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead HDR’s Wastewater Treatment and Effluent Management practice across multiple markets. You will direct technical teams, manage risk, and drive strategic growth while mentoring leaders and building industry presence.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a professional field, 10+ years of related experience, professional registration, and a proven track record in leadership of diverse teams; travel up to 50% is expected as part of client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional/engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Registered professional engineer/architect as applicable.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage diverse teams.
• Active participation in HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead risk management through reviews and claims prevention.
• Drive QA/QC processes and maintain service quality.
• Oversee development of standards, tools, and techniques.
• Assign qualified staff to projects and manage workload.
• Support client development and project pursuits.
