Job summary

North Central Texas College seeks a dedicated Part-Time Writing Tutor for the Gainesville Campus Student Success Writing Center. You will tutor students one-on-one and in small groups, focusing on writing across the curriculum, grammar, structure, and argumentation, both in-person and online.

Requires a Bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA and experience in tutoring or teaching, including supporting learners with disabilities. Strong communication and adaptability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Experience tutoring or teaching, preferably in a college or K-12 setting.
• Familiarity with writing center pedagogy and best practices.
• Experience working with students with disabilities or learning accommodations.
• Proficiency with computer skills and online tutoring platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Writing Tutor to support students in the Student Success Writing Center on the Gainesville Campus. This role involves assisting students in developing their writing skills across various in-person and virtual disciplines.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to support students in writing across the curriculum.

Required Education

Bachelors degree in a related field with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
