Job summary

Villanova University in Rosemont, PA is hiring a Professional Tutor for the Writing Center. The tutor will provide one-to-one consultations with students, faculty, and staff to help improve writing quality and skills, complete session reports, participate in team meetings, and support outreach efforts such as workshops and presentations.

Requires a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of face-to-face tutoring experience, with excellent writing, rhetorical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of face-to-face tutoring experience.
• Excellent writing, rhetorical and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized one-to-one writing consultations for students, faculty and staff.
• Complete session reports after each tutoring session.
• Attend team meetings and assist with outreach workshops and presentations.
