Student Part-Time Doylestown, PA, US
3 days ago Requisition ID: 1979
Salary Range: $10.00 To $10.00 Hourly
The student writing tutor plays an important role in Delaware University’s mission to advance student success by providing one-on-one writing assistance to undergraduate students who request help with writing assignments. Student writing tutors will apply best practices in writing tutoring learned during training sessions at the beginning and throughout the semester. This position also requires the student writing tutor to document and succinctly summarize each tutoring session. Of course, a writing tutor should have strong writing experience and knowledge; however, as any undergraduate student can walk into the Writing Center and ask for help with any writing assignment, on any writing topic, and at any stage of the writing process, a student writing tutor must be willing and eager to learn new writing skills continuously.
