Position Summary: The Writing Center aids students in a collaborative effort of creating their ideal texts and producing their best quality work. The Writing Center encourages multiple, independent visits for all types of students, in all stages of their writing, and seeks to produce better writers, not better texts.
This position is a year-to-year, nine-month appointment depending on need. It requires 20 hrs/week working for the Writing Center and reports to the Director of the Writing Center. This professional tutor will be assigned to work primarily with Villanova undergraduate students, but may also work with graduate students or faculty members.
