Aquent is seeking a remote Writer/Content Editor for a three-month assignment in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include revising content and ensuring alignment with strategic messaging.
Our client is seeking a talented remoteWriter/Content Editor to join their team for a three-month assignment (37.5 hours per week), starting shortly after the Fourth of July and continuing through mid-October.
The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with a sharp editorial eye, strong critical thinking abilities, and the confidence to make sound editorial decisions. This role requires someone who can finesse copy, align content with strategic messaging, and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. The Writer/Editor will be responsible for revising and updating designated content on the organization’s extranet site. This role requires strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various content owners. The Writer/Editor will participate in message training and utilize the organizations messaging guide and house style guide to ensure all content aligns with our strategic priorities.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48to $54an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
