Job summary

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine, LLC is seeking a Wound Care Technician in Taylor, MI to support the clinic team in providing safe, compassionate patient care and in charting accurate EMR records.

The role involves assisting clinicians, maintaining a clean environment, educating patients, and potentially transporting patients. EMT/CNA/CMA certifications and a current BLS are required, with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active EMT, CNA, or CMA certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving history.
• Experience using an EMR system for patient documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• All licenses/certifications must be maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, document in EMR, and manage wound care orders.
• Assist physicians and RNs with wound care procedures.
• Keep patient care areas clean and stocked; enforce infection control.
• Educate patients on wound care and hyperbaric therapy.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and intake calls.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Transport patients if required.
• Participate in onboarding and cross-training.
