Job summary

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine, LLC is hiring a Wound Care Technician in Kankakee, IL. The role supports the clinic team in patient care, wound documentation, and coordination of services in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, EMR documentation, wound care assistance, infection control, and patient education. Travel may be required. Health benefits and 401(k) plans available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active EMT, CNA, or CMA certification required.
• Current BLS from an approved agency.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
• Experience using an EMR system for patient documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and document in EMR.
• Measure and photograph wounds; manage orders.
• Assist physicians and RNs with wound care procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in care areas.
• Support scheduling, patient intakes, and documentation.
