Job summary

The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine, LLC in Taylor, MI is seeking a full-time Hyperbaric Technician. The role administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy and related tests under physician direction, delivering therapy safely while supporting patient well-being.

The candidate will operate chambers, maintain equipment, document in EMR, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Strong communication and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensed/Certified EMT, CNA, or CMA with licensure/certification.
• Valid Driver's License with clean history; Chauffeur's license may be required in some states.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved agency.
• 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience; hyperbaric therapy preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• HIPAA compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hyperbaric chambers and related support systems safely.
• Perform chamber operations and maintenance as required.
• Provide a caring environment with a patient-first philosophy.
• Ensure safe delivery of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy throughout care.
• Assist onboarding and precept new team members.
• Adhere to clinical documentation guidelines and data outcomes.
• Apply evidence-based practice and new hyperbaric knowledge.
• Act as safety advocate and manage hyperbaric safety environment.
• Update safety policies and procedures as needed.
• Assist with patient transport when required.
• Document accurately in EMR per policies.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
• Participate in training of new staff as needed.
