The Wound Care Technician is responsible for delivering specialized care to patients whose primary need is wound care management. This includes assisting with wound care throughout hospitalization, in collaboration with medical providers, and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The position involves following policies, procedures, and standards of care related to the management of various types of wounds. Additionally, the role provides direct patient care, supports nursing staff, and serves as a resource on wound care team. All wound care functions are performed under the oversight of the Director of Wound Care.

Requirements:
Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Licenses/Certification:CurrentBLS certification. Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
Experience:Three (3) years certified nurse assistant or patient care technician experience.
