Job summary

Canterbury Place, a leading senior living community, is seeking a dedicated Wound Care/Infection Prevention RN under new leadership by Oakdale Seniors Alliance. This exempt role focuses on improving resident health through evidence-based wound care and prevention strategies.

Responsibilities include wound assessments, individualized plans, staff education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance. A CWOCN certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with PA license and wound care credentials.
• Minimum 2 years of wound care experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
• Implement and monitor wound healing strategies with appropriate dressings and therapies.
• Educate staff on wound care best practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and wound care protocol development.
