Qualifications

• RN degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Connecticut.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
• Conduct wound assessments and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide wound care services, including dressing changes, cleansing, and debridement.
• Analyze data to identify trends and track infection control and wound care program effectiveness.
• Educate staff on infection control practices and wound care techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize care outcomes and reduce readmissions.
