Job summary

Healogics LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Wound Care Center and manage intake/discharge processes. You may also serve as Case Manager for a group of patients, coordinating care with physicians and other providers.

The role requires ADN, RN license in good standing, and preferred BSN and wound care certification. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are essential in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles intake and discharge processes as assigned and according to the hospital and nursing standards
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed
• May also serve as Case Manager to a group of patients as assigned, performing initial nursing assessment and coordinating care with physicians
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and serving as a patient advocate in delivery and coordination of care
• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) related duties as assigned after training
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training
