Job summary

The Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Wound Program Coordinator dedicated to advancing patient care through expert wound management. You will oversee wound care services, guide clinical teams, and lead hospital-wide education on wound treatment.

Candidates should have RN, PT, or OT licensure, CPR certification, and a minimum year of wound care experience, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• RN/PT/OT licensure for acute rehab hospital roles.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year wound care experience.
• Ongoing wound care education through seminars/professional organizations is required.
• Strong communication and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
