Job summary

This role emphasizes staying current with wound care innovations while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an RN, PT, or OT license, CPR certification, and have at least one year of wound care experience.

Qualifications

• RN, PT, or OT license/certification required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in accordance with regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, and educate patients and families on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain ongoing education and stay updated on wound care techniques and advancements.
