Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to coordinate wound care services, educate patients and families, and lead hospital-wide wound care education initiatives. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care and advance wound care knowledge within the hospital.

The role requires RN/PT/OT licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of wound care experience with ongoing education in wound

Qualifications

• RN/PT/OT licensure required for acute rehab hospitals; RN for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patients and families on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
