Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead our wound care services and ensure high-quality patient outcomes. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and advance hospital-wide wound care education.

Qualified candidates hold RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist licenses, CPR certification, and at least one year of wound care experience with ongoing professional

Qualifications

• RN/Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars/professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
