Job summary

Healogics, LLC. is seeking a Patient Navigator to support our outpatient wound care center in North Bergen, NJ. This role manages front office tasks, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in medical office administration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Prior medical coding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two or more years in office administration, preferably in medical setting; medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors; answer and route calls; manage scheduling and reminders.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information; handle pre-certifications and pre-authorizations; data entry.
• Collects and enters patient charges; verifies and reconciles charges; prepares monthly survey data.
• Maintains charts; coordinates/schedules testing; arranges patient transportation; handles office supplies.
