Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Clinical Patient Navigator to manage front-office duties at a wound care center and support clinical staff. You will handle scheduling, insurance verification, data entry, and chart maintenance, while assisting in wound care activities under RN direction.

The role blends administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care within CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Graduate CMA/EMT/CNA program approved by CAAHEP or ABHES.
• Current CMA/CNA/EMT license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2+ years in medical office administration.
• Prior medical coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with center leadership to maximize patient census.
• Greet patients, route calls, schedule appointments and reminders.
• Verify insurance, pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Enter data and charges; maintain patient charts and records.
• Assist RN/provider with wound care and intake/discharge tasks.
