Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to manage front office functions at an outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, handle scheduling, verify insurance, and enter charges, while supporting staff and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma/GED, 2+ years in medical office administration, and preferred medical coding experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors; manage calls, scheduling and reminders.
• Verify patient insurance including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations; enter data.
• Enter and reconcile patient charges; maintain and file patient charts.
• Coordinate schedules for providers and ancillary testing; arrange patient transportation.
