AMG Specialty Hospital-Albuquerque is seeking a PRN Wound Care Nurse (RN) for weekend shifts to evaluate and treat wounds and provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. You will communicate with physicians and co-workers about changes in patient status and respond quickly to clinical developments, ensuring safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Current certification of Wound Care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
• Evaluate and monitor patient wounds and apply treatment per policies and procedures.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, CCO, and co-workers.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.

AMG Specialty Hospital-Albuquerque seeks a PRN Wound Care Nurse (RN) for Weekend Shiftswho evaluates new and existing in/out patient'swound and monitors and treats the wound as per treatment policies andprocedures. Provide direct and indirectpatient care in the long-term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers,as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including resultsof diagnostic studies and symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient's condition orresponse to treatment. Additionally, isable to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequatesupervision.
