Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the State of New Mexico.
• ACLS certification (required) and BLS certification.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with assessments, treatment plans, and patient safety protocols.

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque isseeking Full Time Registered Nurses, RN for Days with ICU/Step-down experience. Ability to communicatewith physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient'sclinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditionor response totreatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in alldepartments with adequate supervision.Some of the medical conditions thatare commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failurerequiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula.Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/painmanagement, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management.Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronicnon-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequentdressing changes. RN'swill beresponsible fordirect andindirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.

Job Requirements
