Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks a Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to oversee the Skin Integrity program in the center and supervise its implementation on the nursing units. You will implement treatments, monitor wound status, maintain supply inventory, ensure accurate documentation, and manage TAR processes in collaboration with the physician.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Hawaii RN or LPN license, and at least 1 year of nursing experience;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year of professional nursing experience required.
• Current Hawaii RN or LPN license.
• Wound care certification preferred but will train.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Skin Integrity program in the center and supervise implementation on nursing units.
• Implement treatments per physician orders and adjust as needed.
• Maintain inventory of wound care supplies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer treatments and manage TAR processes.

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN), who is responsible for the oversight of the Skin Integrity program in the center and supervision of implementation of the program on the nursing units.Additional duties include:

• Implements treatments and interventions as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures. Notifies physician of condition of wounds, changes and needed treatment changes
• Maintains appropriate inventory of skin and wound care supplies. Ensures accuracy and completion of wound care documentation. Performs and records all measurements
  
• Administers treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures. Ensures accuracy and completion of TAR.
  

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience required.
• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State ofHawaiirequired.
• Wound care certification preferred but will train
