Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide wound services to residents in long-term care facilities. The role requires a current AR NP license, board certification, and experience in wound care.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, prescribe medications including controlled substances per AR law, and manage treatments using EMR systems. This full-time position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities to impact elderly patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active AR NP license and board certification.
• Experience in wound care with chronic or infected wounds.
• Comfort diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed wounds.
• Familiar with wound care products and DME.
• Experience working in a long-term care setting and using an EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services for long-term care patients.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in AR law.
• Order, review, and follow-up with treatments and diagnostic testing.
• Communicate with nursing home staff about changes in condition and care plan.
• Collaborate with the primary care physician.
