Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to serve residents in long-term care facilities. The role involves wound assessment, management, and collaboration with facility staff and primary care providers.

The NP must hold an Arkansas license with board certification; wound care experience is highly preferred, with knowledge of wound vacs and DME helpful. EMR proficiency and team-based care are required.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Arkansas and board certification.
• Preference for wound certification or willingness to certify.
• Experience treating chronic, diabetic, arterial, venous, or Kennedy ulcers.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care for long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, per Arkansas law.
• Order, review, and follow up on treatments and diagnostic testing.
