Job summary

CareMed Group seeks a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide wound services in long-term care facilities. The role includes diagnosing and treating wounds, prescribing medications, and coordinating with nursing staff and primary care physicians.

The ideal candidate will have Arkansas NP licensure, board certification, and experience with wound care, EMR systems, and wound VACs, within a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Arkansas is required.
• Board Certification in appropriate specialty is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services for residents in long-term care facilities.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances per Arkansas law.
• Order, review, and follow up on treatments and diagnostic tests.
• Communicate with nursing home staff regarding changes in condition.
• Coordinate with primary care physician as part of the care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
