Job summary

Healogics Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our outpatient wound care center. Under RN direction, you will provide wound care, monitor patient progress, and support clinical staff.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, 2+ years experience (SNF/LTACH preferred), BLS certification, and ability to work in a fast-paced team. Wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in state of practice.
• Two or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, including SNF/LTACH experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound-related patient care under RN/Provider direction per BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic and intake/discharge after training.
• May assist with case management under RN guidance per state regulations.
• Gather patient information and necessary equipment for the RN/Provider.
• Report quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with team regarding therapeutic interventions to ensure quality care.
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties as trained; may serve as safety director when trained.
• Act as Documentation Assistant as needed and perform other delegated duties.
