Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
• Two (2) or more years of LPN/LVN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH).
• Experience in wound care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound-related patient care according to BLS and approved protocols.
• Assist with patient intake and discharge as needed.
• Gather patient information for the RN or provider.
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties after required training.
• Report quality of care issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
