Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD seeks an Advanced Practitioner in Wound Care for a full-time role overseeing patient care at the Wound Care Center, Lymphedema center, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center. The incumbent will evaluate, diagnose, and manage wound healing plans, collaborate with physicians, and mentor nursing staff.

Required: Adult NP/PA licensure in Maryland, 2 years of midlevel experience, CPR, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: Physician Assistant Program or Certified Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Experience: Two (2) year experience as an adult advanced practitioner; clinical wound care experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatients at the Lymphedema and Wound Care Centers and Hyperbaric Oxygen Center.
• Provide consultations and treatment for admitted patients requiring wounds and hyperbaric therapy.
• Document progress, orders, and patient education; communicate with the care team.
