Job summary

GBMC HealthCare seeks an experienced midlevel clinician to manage outpatient and inpatient wound care, lymphedema, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. You will perform history and physicals, write orders, and coordinate care with the medical team at GBMC’s Wound Care Center, Lymphedema Center, and HBO Center.

The role requires an Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in Maryland, with 2+ years of adult practice and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Two years of adult advanced practitioner experience.
• Licensed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by MD Board.
• Certification as required and CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate initial patient status in Wound Care, Lymphedema, and Hyperbaric Center.
• Provide consultation and treatment for admitted patients with wounds and HBO therapy.
• Document history, physicals, and orders in compliance with hospital policy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment with the attending physician.
• Refer to appropriate departments and document progress notes.
• Lead education and mentorship for nurses in related centers.
