Job summary

You will lead care teams, provide education, participate in QA, and ensure patient safety. Maryland licensure and Healthcare Provider CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant by the Maryland Board.
• Certification as required.
• Completion of Healthcare Provider CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assumes initial evaluation and treatment of outpatients at the Lymphedema Center, Wound Care Center and/or HBOT Center.
• Provides consultation and treatment on admitted patients for wounds and HBOT.
• Performs history and physical examinations with documentation.
• Writes orders in compliance with hospital policy.
• Evaluates patient progress and collaborates with attending physician; adjusts treatment as needed.
• Initiates referrals to appropriate departments and community resources.
• Documents progress and treatment plans accurately.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and QA activities.
• Provides mentorship to nurses and supports hospital performance improvement initiatives.
