CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local seeks a Workplace Experience Technology Manager to own the technology strategy, governance, training, and ongoing improvement across workplace systems. You will coordinate CBRE resources to deliver seamless employee tech experiences on-site with clients.

As a CBRE Workplace Experience Technology Manager, you will serve as the single point of accountability for Workplace Experience Technology operations, strategy, governance, training, and continuous improvement, ensuring workplace technologies deliver a seamless employee experience while coordinating specialized CBRE resources (as needed) to support advanced technical requirement.


What You’ll Do


  • Serve as the single point of contact for Workplace Experience Technology initiatives

  • Act as a Technology Advisory Consultant, Product Strategist, IWMS implementation lead, and Data Governance/Integration advise

  • Support the strategic expansion of Workplace Experience Technology

  • Assess technology opportunities and recommend improvements

  • Align technology investments with business objectives

  • Function as the product owner for the workplace technology portfolio

  • Lead response and issue resolution for various software/hardware deployed

  • Drive continuous improvement across the workplace technology ecosystem

  • Coordinate with CBRE Facilities Management staff located on-site across client's portfolio to act as boots on the ground support to resolve physical issues

  • Engage the FMS/OpenBlue consultant when specialized platform expertise is required

  • Own the business side of integrations including defining integration requirements, establishing data ownership models, creating governance standards, validating business requirements for integrations, and coordinating testing and business acceptance activities

  • Define software issues that technical teams can deliver complex or largest solutions on. Introduce the customer to the technical teams and answer questions about expectations.

  • Use advanced technical and product expertise to prioritize deliverables. Manage the backlog of product requests.

  • Facilitate complex discussions, user story development and refinement, and testing and validation. Provide directions for roadblock resolution and decision making.

  • Provide regular communication and reporting to executive stakeholders.

  • Manage changes to features and communication to ensure there is clear indication of what is required for each release.

  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams. Engage in daily scrum sessions, demos, trainings, testings, and change management activities.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence. Use innovative methods to think beyond existing solutions.


What You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the D&T Senior Consultant position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the D&T Senior Consultant position is $175,000. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
