Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Workplace Technology Engineer to install, maintain, and upgrade office technology across multiple locations. You will work hands-on with hardware, AV systems, badge access devices, cameras, and conference room tech, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

This onsite role in Redwood City requires strong problem-solving, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication with contractors, employees, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Networking/IT infrastructure, AV, or physical security.
• Hands-on hardware installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication with vendors and teams.
• Ability to support multiple office locations onsite.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, configure, and troubleshoot workplace hardware across offices.
• Support conference room tech: displays, video conferencing, panels, projectors, AV peripherals.
• Assist with network infrastructure deployments and hardware refreshes.
• Support physical security: badge access devices, cameras, intercom systems.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and site teams; escort vendors onsite.
• Verify installations and document work; participate in office buildouts and upgrades.
• Track projects, inventory, vendor activities, and service requests.
