Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technology Project Engineer to lead AV/IT installation and upgrade projects in our Bay Area offices.

You will coordinate with REWFS, IT, Audio Visual and Physical Security teams, manage vendors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while documenting scopes of work and system diagrams. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in networking, AV or physical security, CTS/CTS-I or CompTIA certs, and experience managing small-to-midscale AV/IT projects;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in networking, AV, or physical security.
• CTS or CTS-I certification, and/or CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience managing small-to-midsize AV/IT integration projects end-to-end; knowledge of IT infrastructure, physical security, video conferencing, or AV hardware.
• Strong communication and hands-on troubleshooting abilities; willingness to work across facilities and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with deployment of technology for new office builds and renovations in collaboration with REWFS, IT, AV, and Physical Security teams.
• Ensure effective, timely, and consistent communication during all projects.
• Follow standards for networks, access control, CCTV, video conferencing, and other systems as part of our facilities.
• Oversee setup, configuration, and upgrade of printers, workstations, AV, physical security and network peripherals by vendors.
• Assist in testing new technology, prototypes, or hardware updates, documenting results.
