Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Implementation Manager - Payroll Integrations to drive client payroll integration implementations within the Client Onboarding group. You will translate client data requirements into integration configurations and map payroll fields to Merge.

The role emphasizes analytical problem-solving, stakeholder management, and clear communication with technical and non-technical teams as you coordinate across internal groups to deliver successful onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience managing implementations, integrations, client onboarding, payroll implementations, or similar complex client projects.
• Strong experience with data mapping, data files, field-level requirements, or system-to-system data integration.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to understand complex data requirements and translate them into practical implementation solutions.
• Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive issues through resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with payroll technology or payroll integrations.
• Financial services, fintech, HR technology, or similar implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll integration implementations from requirements gathering through testing and production readiness.
• Partner directly with clients to understand their payroll systems, data structures, business requirements, and transmission needs.
• Own the mapping of client payroll fields to the appropriate fields within Merge, ensuring data is accurately aligned to downstream requirements.
• Analyze source data and identify mapping gaps, inconsistencies, missing information, or other issues requiring resolution.
• Coordinate configuration, testing, validation, issue resolution, and implementation activities across internal teams and clients.
• Translate technical integration requirements into clear business requirements and explain them effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple implementations simultaneously while maintaining strong project governance, documentation, and client communication.
• Apply sound judgment and critical thinking to resolve complex implementation and data issues.
• Partner across Client Onboarding, Product, Engineering, Plan Management, and other stakeholders to support successful implementation outcomes.
