Job summary

Central Park Conservancy seeks an Assistant Manager, Workplace Services to oversee daily operations, facilities, and workplace experience across headquarters and satellite sites. You will lead a team of three on-site professionals and ensure spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for use.

The role requires 2–5 years in workplace services with 1–2 years of leadership, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Travel between sites and lifting 30 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in workplace services, facilities coordination, hospitality management, or corporate property management.
• Leadership: 1–2 years of direct on-site staff management.
• Autonomy: able to work independently with minimal guidance in fast-paced facilities settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse staff, executives, and vendors.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally and possession of a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and mentorship of the on-site Workplace Services team (Receptionist, Mailroom Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator).
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all sites, including offices, meeting spaces, and breakrooms.
• Monitor calendars, plan events, and ensure conference spaces are ready and reset.
• Manage procurement and inventory, control costs, and distribute supplies across locations.
• Provide regular updates to the Director on conditions and service needs at each location.
