Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to drive safety culture across our sites. You will lead safety program implementation, conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering impactful safety training to associates.

You will transform safety data into meaningful narratives that motivate positive changes and partner with frontline teams to embed best practices in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor’s in an EHS background OR 6 months in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program excellence through data-driven strategies and daily audits.
• Investigate incidents and perform risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training to associates.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build cross-level partnerships.
• Translate safety data into narratives that drive safety improvements and engagement.
