Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Coppell, TX is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and training, combining data-driven strategies with human-centered practices to protect associates.

You will champion safety culture, investigate incidents, and collaborate across teams while meeting OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standards; the role requires flexibility for shifts and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR; A Bachelor’s degree in EHS-relevant background OR; 6 months experience performing in a safety-related role within Amazon
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matter involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive safety programs through data-driven strategies and lead daily safety audits and incident investigations.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build cross-level partnerships to foster a safety-first culture.
• Transform safety data into compelling narratives to influence positive change and drive engagement in safety initiatives.
