Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. is seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer to deliver industrial injury prevention services focused on total worker health. You will perform triage, first aid, education, and case coordination across designated sites, while promoting safe work practices and ergonomic improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years’ experience, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license. Remote relocation support and a sign-on bonus are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required.
• BOC Certified AT, in good standing required.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must hold CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in orthopedics, wellness, industrial/occupational health, or ergonomic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and/or escalation of care.
• Facilitate on-going communication with all parties involved in managing an injury case.
• Support the injured employee, monitor medical care, and participate in accident investigation.
• Assist in finding temporarily modified work in compliance with physical restrictions.
• Help employees prevent musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses and provide workstation recommendations.
• Provide on-the-job education to improve body mechanics and resilience.
• Address total health risks to reduce injuries.
• Leverage technology to support total worker health.
• Work with other WorkCare service lines to ensure efficient operations.
