Job summary

Workcare Inc in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Part Time Athletic Trainer to deliver industrial injury prevention services focused on total worker health. The role emphasizes triage, first aid, education, and ongoing communication with all parties involved in injury case management.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and a current CPR/First Aid certification, with preferred experience in industrial/occupational health and ergonomic work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• BOC certified ATC, in good standing preferred.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• Ergonomic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, education and escalation of care if needed.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with all parties involved in managing an injury case.
• Support the injured employee, monitor medical care, and assist in accident investigation.
• Assist in finding temporarily modified work in compliance with physical restrictions.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses to provide workstation and posture recommendations.
• Provide on-the-job education and coaching to improve body mechanics and resilience.
