Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Dallas is seeking an Employer Relations and Workforce Instructor to build employer partnerships and deliver workforce readiness training. You will coach participants, align programs with community needs, and organize events to connect participants with employers.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in workforce development or related fields, with strong communication and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Education or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in workforce development, career counseling, or employer relations.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.
• Experience in creating and delivering training programs tailored to workforce readiness and employment skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships with local employers to identify job opportunities for program participants.
• Design and deliver workforce readiness training programs that equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge for employment.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to participants, helping them to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.
• Collaborate with other departments within Goodwill Industries to align workforce programs with organizational goals and community needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Organize job fairs, employer panels, and networking events to connect participants with potential employers.
• Maintain accurate records of participant progress and employer engagement activities, ensuring compliance with organizational and funding requirements.
• Stay informed about labor market trends and employer needs to continuously enhance program offerings and participant success.
