Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated job coach to provide tailored coaching for adults with disabilities in Madison, Wisconsin. You will train and develop essential workplace skills, track progress, and collaborate with service providers to ensure successful job performance.

The role emphasizes communication, critical thinking, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting program requirements. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CPR/First Aid and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid may be required depending on local, state, and/or contract requirements.
• Valid Driver's License may be required depending on local, state, and/or contract requirements.
• Ability to perform required physical demands, including viewing computer screens, keyboarding, maneuvering around equipment, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and moving or lifting boxes up to 25 pounds.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred.
