Job summary

Career Team is a leading workforce development organization seeking a Workforce Development Specialist ES to provide Employer Services under WPA. The role focuses on building business relationships, posting and filling jobs, and coordinating work-based learning opportunities in North Central Texas.

You will plan events, deliver labor market information, and ensure data accuracy in systems while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with program requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required with relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Experience engaging employers and providing workforce services.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations.
• Assist employers with WorkinTexas.com registration and posting job orders.
• Plan and execute recruiting and hiring events for diverse job seekers.
• Deliver presentations to employers and program participants about opportunities.
• Match job seekers to work-based learning opportunities and resources.
• Record services and enter data in WorkInTexas.com for compliance.
