The Business Services Consultant role focuses on building relationships with local businesses, planning recruitment events, and advising on utilization of work-based learning programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Familiarity with labor market and employer engagement practices.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with local businesses and organizations to develop job orders and work-based learning opportunities.
• Plan and execute recruiting and hiring events for employers using in-person and virtual platforms.
• Collaborate with partners to plan and execute recruiting events.
• Present employment opportunities and labor market information to employers and participants.
• Assist in implementing new Business Services programs with employers.
• Negotiate and develop job opportunities and training agreements with businesses.
• Interact with employers to create job orders and fill vacancies.
• Respond to and resolve local business needs using available resources.
• Track participant placements and report on outcomes and partnerships.
• Provide career planning and advisement to assist placement, advancement and retention.

Education
