Job summary

Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Human Resource Development) to develop and field the Joint Staff Civilian Leader Professional Development and Training (CLPDT) programs for the workforce. You will manage training, track registrations, quotas, and completions, and provide advisory services to senior leaders on development needs.

Role requires a background in Federal management and HR, with knowledge of incumbent development theory and practices,

Qualifications

• Applied Federal management and Human Resources in workforce development and training.
• Knowledge of incumbent development theory, principles, and practices.
• Advisory services for complex, top-priority training needs to senior leadership.
• Support policy reviews to improve effectiveness of policies and practices.
• Coordinate development of process updates and changes.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and fields CLPDT policies and programs.
• Designs and implements analysis approaches to assess the training program.
• Procurement of training, registration, quota management, and SF 182 requests.
• Provide advisory services to senior leaders on development and training.
