Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution and completion of an advanced planning school.
• Instructors must be former or retired field grade officers (O4-O6) with at least 16 years of military service.
• Experience as a Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) and service on Joint/CCMD or staff at corps/MEF level preferred.
• Frequent travel to multiple locations, including overseas bases, will be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct a turnkey Joint Planners Course (10 days) on the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
• Maintain and update course curriculum, instructional material, scenarios, and handouts.
• Coordinate all aspects of course execution with government leadership and provide SME on JPP.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly mission readiness exercises with observers and evaluators.
• Develop exercise design, scenarios, injects, and life support plans; travel as needed.
