Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process job orders using information from employers and code occupations and industries.
• Monitor job orders and verify referral results with employers.
• Provide counseling services to targeted groups (e.g., dislocated workers, veterans).
• Present workshops and prepare handouts and audio-visuals.
• Coordinate services with state/local agencies and employers for job development and referrals.
• Refer customers to community resources and perform placement services as required.
• Provide administrative support for program activities.
• Ensure reports and correspondence are accurate and timely.
• Participate in community groups and One-Stop program activities.
• Provide RESEA services on a scheduled basis.
• Schedule applicant RESEA notices with adequate lead time.
• Enter data into Employ Florida system timely.
• Assist with follow-up for RESEA participants.
• Initiate contact with trade-affected individuals and assess eligibility.
• Refer eligible individuals for comprehensive assessments.
• Assist in Trade Adjustment Allowance information meetings.
