Job summary

The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking a Workforce Data Analytics Specialist to support data-driven decision-making. The role develops reports and dashboards, ensures data quality, and communicates insights to leadership and program teams.

Based in Atlanta at 1800 Century Place, the position collaborates across departments to meet reporting requirements, identify trends, and drive improvements with clear visualizations and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, statistics, information systems, computer science, economics, education, business, public administration, public policy, workforce development, or a related field and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data governance procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of performance data across multiple workforce systems.
• Monitor data quality and improve data collection and validation processes to strengthen reporting accuracy.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data summaries using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and other analytical tools to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Analyze workforce and program data to identify trends, patterns, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of departmental data requests, including intake, prioritization, resource coordination, deliverable tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Support federal and state workforce program reporting, including apprenticeship and WIOA-related reporting requirements.
• Partner with leadership to deliver tailored analytical solutions and insights.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and programs.
• Communicate performance trends and key findings through visuals and presentations.
