Job summary

Canada's Wonderland in Georgia is hiring a Workforce Planning Assistant to support centralized scheduling for park associates using the UKG Pro platform. You will forecast volume, project staffing levels, and design optimal schedule patterns for multiple operating divisions.

You will work with park management across divisions and with associates to ensure schedules meet business needs and seasonal staffing requirements, delivering timely reports and maintaining scheduling documents.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas and data tables.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maintains reliable availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all scheduling activities within the UKG Pro platform, maintaining department schedules.
• Collaborate with park leadership to design, adjust, and optimize staffing coverage.
• Analyze staffing plans to identify gaps and advise management and recruiting teams.
• Prepare and distribute scheduling documents, including open-shift reports and headcount templates.
• Provide daily leadership and operational reports for the scheduling office.
• Act as a primary contact for associates on scheduling questions and concerns.
• Update schedules in response to staffing changes to maintain operations.
• Deliver guest service in line with Six Flags standards and assist guests as needed.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment by following safety protocols.

Job description

Workforce Planning Assistants will assist in the centralized scheduling process for park associates. They're responsible for the scheduling functions as well as generating volume forecasts, projecting staffing levels, and determining optimal schedule patterns for park operating divisions.

You will work directly with park management from all divisions, as well as with associates directly to ensure that work schedules meet various business demands, as well as the needs of seasonal staff.

Payrate: $13.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all scheduling activities within the FUNtime scheduling platform (UKG Pro), including the development, management, and long‑term maintenance of departmental schedules.
• Partner with park leadership to design, adjust, and optimize schedules that ensure adequate staffing coverage and exceptional service delivery across all operational areas.
• Analyze staffing plans to identify potential coverage gaps and provide strategic recommendations to department management and recruiting teams.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute key scheduling and staffing documents, including open‑shift reports, workforce summaries, headcount templates, and associate data.
• Provide daily leadership and operational reports for the central scheduling office, ensuring efficient workflow and service responsiveness.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for associates, addressing and resolving scheduling questions, conflicts, and concerns.
• Update and modify park schedules in response to staffing changes, labor shortages, or business interruptions to maintain operational continuity.
• Delivers exceptional guest service in alignment with Six Flags standards, proactively engaging with guests, responding to inquiries, and providing clear and helpful directions.
• Ensures a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by adhering to all Six Flags safety protocols and promptly reporting any unsafe, unusual, or non‑compliant conditions to leadership.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data table management; experience with PivotTables is preferred.
